Wednesday, June 09, 2010 - Thursday, June 10, 2010
Each summer, talented students from the TAMU equine program travel across the state to teach young people about horsemanship. Participants will learn the basics of horsemanship as well as higher level skills, including trail skills (opening fences, side-passing logs, etc.). This year, The Saddle Club of Jackson County 4-H will hold the Summer Horsemanship Clinic from 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 9-10, 2010, at the BRC. This clinic is open to all students from 3rd grade through 12th grade, and any skill level. Students must be in a 4-H club in order to be covered by insurance. Space is limited to 12 participants, on a first come, first serve basis. The cost of the two-day clinic is $100 per child. Receipt of payment insures your reservation. For more information, please contact RaeAnn Ortolon at (361) 782-6144.
