As darkness falls, eyes will be watching your every move. Rickety bridges, screams in the night……and it just may be yours! What is that creeping, crawling, or slithering by? Once you enter there is no turning back! Prepare to be SCARED on the BRC Spooktacular Trail!! As always, our staff has been busy creating new and extra scary décor to make this our best year yet! Soft drinks and tea will also be available for purchase. Limited parking is available at Texana Park; overflow parking will be available at the Main Event Center parking lot with a free shuttle service to transport you to and from the event. We will have volunteers at the entrance of Texana Park directing people to parking spaces either in the Day Use Area or the Main Event Center parking lot depending on what is available. Pets are not allowed unless they are certified service dogs.
The success of this community event is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to this annual event! Almost as important is our volunteers who take the time to decorate and haunt the trail, operate a game or drive the Hay Ride to help grow this event to make it the best it can be. We had over 90 individuals volunteer during last year’s event! It takes a community coming together to make an event like this happen. If you are interested in joining us as a sponsor or as a volunteer, please contact our park office at 361-782-5456. We would love to have you!
We hope to have lots of families join us at the BRC Spooktacular Trail and Carnival! It is the perfect way to start off the Halloween celebrations!
