Picnic Areas

The Day Use Area is located along State Highway 111 just past the Brackenridge Recreation Complex entrance and is free to the public. It offers five covered picnic tables (one is handicap accessible), BAR-B-QUE grills, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a horseshoe pitching area, a playground, and bird observation station. Area is closed daily 30 minutes before sunset. Rules for use are available at Park office.
