BRC End of Summer Bash

On Saturday, July 27th, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. please join us at the Brackenridge Park & Campground for our first ever “End of Summer Bash”! Activities include live music, beer and wine vendors, food trucks, market vendors, water slides, a Kid’s Fun Zone, hay rides, an outdoor game area and we will end the night with a fireworks show! Event admission is just $10.00 per person and includes the All-inclusive Armband, which gives children and adults access to everything the event has to offer! Children under the age of 2 are FREE! First up on our entertainment lineup is local artist, Thomas Short! Thomas will cover Texas and mainstream country music as well as some of his own original songs from 3:30-5:00 p.m. You can catch Thomas playing at local restaurants and bars in and around the Golden Crescent area.


Next up, we have Stephanie Ross, member of the Southern Drive Band, with Rick Evans from 5:30-7:00 p.m.! Stephanie and Rick play at several local businesses throughout the Crossroad’s area and we are extremely lucky to have them perform at our End of Summer Bash!


Finally, we have Jackson County's very own Zachary Grant taking the stage with Mike Vanek from 7:30-9:00 p.m.! When Zachary and Mike are not performing duets, they sing with the “The Tainted Heart Band”! We can’t wait to welcome Zachary and Mike to the BRC!


Rusty Hook Winery will be on-site selling a wide variety of wine from 3:00-9:00 p.m.! Wine can be purchased by the glass or by the bottle! Make sure you stop by The Ganado Education Foundation Booth as they will be selling beer to raise money to benefit their school district! There will also be several market vendors set up from 3:00-7:00 p.m. selling a variety of items! Bring your appetite because Georgia Mae’s and CornDawg8 will be on-site serving up your favorite festival foods from 3:00-9:00 p.m.! Don’t forget to stop by Kona Ice for a refreshing Snow Cone!


One of the many activities your family will enjoy is the Kid’s Fun Zone! The Fun Zone is equipped with 5 different stations including Rock Painting, “Make Your Own Pixie Stick”, a Bubble Station, Hula Hoops, and then the whole family can get their hair sprayed at our Hair Coloring Station! The Kids Fun Zone will be open from 3:00-7:00 p.m.!


Make sure to bring an extra set of clothes for the kids because there will be 3 water slides available for them to enjoy from 3:00-7:00 p.m.! There will also be a regular dry bounce house for those who may not want to get wet.


Other fun family activities include the Outdoor Game Area which consists of Cornhole, Horseshoes, Washers, Giant Jenga, Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four, Ninja Warrior Steps and a Hay Slide! Families can also jump on a Hay Ride as it winds through beautiful Brackenridge Park & Campground.


Event admission is just $10.00 per person and includes the All-inclusive Armband, which gives children and adults access to everything the event has to offer! Children under the age of 2 are FREE!
