We are very excited to be adding a ‘Wine Garden’ to this year’s Texana Chili Spill and we’ve partnered up with the Rear Window Listening Room and Lavaca Bluffs Winery to make it happen! It will be located directly in front of the food court area and will feature live music from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 10th. Lavaca Bluffs booth will be in front of the Garden selling a wide variety of local tasty wine! Four singer/songwriters will perform original acoustic Americana music throughout the day! First on deck will be Jake Shaffer & Matt Harlan from 12 – 3 PM! Matt Harlan is a winner of multiple songwriting accolades, from outfits like American Songwriter, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Billboard. He was named Singer-Songwriter of the Year in the 2013 Texas Music Awards and was featured alongside a stellar cast of characters (Lyle Lovett, Guy Clark) in the documentary, “For the Sake of the Song.” Jake Shaffer is a Singer-songwriter who plays Guitar & Bass. His talent and beautiful melody makes for a perfect blend for our Wine Garden. From 3 – 4:30 PM, we are very happy to announce that Mason Lankford will take over the stage! Since the release of his band ‘Folk Family Revival’ debut album in 2011 they have opened for legends like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Wanda Jackson. We are excited to have a member of the ‘Folk Family Revival’ to swoon us away with his acoustic tune! For the last acoustic set, Gabe Wooten will provide musical entertainment from 4:30 – 6 PM. Gabe’s songs run the gamut incorporating elements of all the music he has stumbled upon throughout his life. Make sure that you make plans to attend the Texana Chili Spill! You won’t want to miss it!!
