Texana Chili Spill Planned for November 8-10
The 18th Annual
Texana Chili Spill will be held November 8-10 at the Brackenridge Recreation
Complex Main Event Center, sponsored by the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority and
the Jackson County Go-Texan Committee.

and a fireworks display sponsored by Whataburger on Thursday, November 8th

our new event the Chef’s Choice Competition, the come-back of Margaritas, along
with the Salsa and Sausage competition, and the Go-Texan Dutch Oven Dessert Cook-off.

will be shopping at the Texana Market, Helicopter Rides, and a Kids Zone with

This year we will have special visitors in
the Kids Zone from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. that include Iron Man, Peppa Pig,
Moana, Maui, and Cat Boy and Gecko from PJ Mask, just to name a few.
There also will be a yummy variety of food,
drink, and snack vendors.
County Go-Texan Committee will also host its annual Bar-B-Que cook-off and
horseshoe and washer tournament.

whopping $3000 in cash Prize money and can also enter into the Top Gun Jackpot
for a chance to win extra cash money.!!!
Friday night beginning
at 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and all day Saturday DJ Robert Kollaja will keep the
main stage rocking, spinning your favorite tunes throughout the day.
Parking fee for the weekend is only $5.00 per
vehicle so load up the whole group and join us for a weekend of good food and
plenty of fun.
