Two Parks... One Destination!

Brackenridge Recreation Complex is the home of two parks, Brackenridge Park and Campground and Texana Park and Campground, both of which are situated on beautiful Lake Texana. Guests are able to use the amenities at either park during their stay.
Camping is ranked as one of America's favorite outdoor activities! Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday and relax among nature.

Brackenridge Park and Campground

Brackenridge Park and Campground includes 134 campsites. Most are nestled among the many beautiful oak and pecan trees. Portions of the campground are in a wagon wheel design that we refer to as circles. Two circles make a set of circles with four sets of circles in the campground to choose your site from, all of which are full hook-ups. Additional full hook-up and partial hook-up sites are located along the campground road in open and wooded areas. Sixteen pull-through sites are also available. All campsites offer 20, 30 or 50 amp electricity for R.V.'s and Motor Homes.

Texana Park and Campground

Texana Park and Campground includes 141 campsites. With full-hook up and partial hook-up campsites available throughout the campground, guests are sure to find the perfect place to camp, relax and enjoy their getaway. Pick between a campsite located directly on the Lake Texana cove, or tucked away surrounded by beautiful oak trees. All campsites offer 20, 30 or 50 amp electricity for R.V.'s and Motor Homes.

Tents - Tent camping is allowed in any of our partial, full and pull through sites, with the exception of the camping circles, located in Brackenridge Park. Long Term Stay - Long term camping is located near the Main Event Center and pond located on a gravel pad. Each site in this area provides unmetered 30 and 50 amp electrical receptacles, water and sewer hook-ups. These sites are perfect for those temporarily relocating to the area for work.

Camping Amenities- Each guest has access to our comfort stations, located conveniently throughout both campgrounds. Our staff works hard to ensure that the bathrooms stay clean and neat for our guests. The Brackenridge Park and Campground has 4 comfort stations. They are air conditioned and handicap accessible. Each facility has restrooms and showers. Comfort Stations 1 and 3 also include a washer, a dryer, and a pay phone. Texana Park has 7 comfort stations, 3 with showers that are climate controlled and 4 that are just restroom facilities only.

There are four sanitary disposal stations. In Brackenridge Park, one is located at the entrance to the campground and one is at the exit of the campground. In Texana Park, one is located at the entrance/exit of the campground. There is also one located at the entrance of the long term camping near the Main Event Center.

Garbage dumpsters are located throughout the campgrounds for your convenience.
