24th Annual Texana Chili Spill & Go-Texan Cook-Off

Event Highlights!

Veterans Ceremony This year’s event will include a Veterans Ceremony, an Appreciation Dinner, and a fireworks display on Thursday, November 6th beginning at 5:00 p.m. All Veterans, family and friends are invited to the dinner.

Go-Texan Cook Off Go-Texan will be bringing back their Dutch Oven, Jackpot Chicken, Jackpot Ribs, and Jackpot Brisket cook-offs! Turn-in times vary, see below for more details!

Texana Chili Spill Cook-Off The Texana Chili Spill will be bringing back your favorite cook-off competitions! Categories include Salsa, Margarita, Bloody Mary, Sausage, Chili, Bean, & Gumbo! Turn in times/dates vary, see below for info.

Kids Que Sponsored by Prasek's Hillje Smokehouse The Kids Que is an amateur contest for ages 8-12. The contest is part of the Texana Chili Spill Cook-Off & will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8th. Winners will be announced after the conclusion of judging.

Cornhole Tournament Returning to this year’s event on Saturday, November 8th is the Cornhole Jackpot Tournament!

Wine/Beer Garden Join us in the Wine Garden for LIVE Acoustic performances Friday, November 7th from 7-11PM and Saturday, November 8th from 11AM - 10PM! Lavaca Bluffs and the Beer Ranch will be onsite selling a wide variety drinks from 11am-10pm.

Kids Zone The Kids Zone will be open on Saturday Nov. 8th from 10 am to 5 pm. It will include fun inflatables, craft zone, face painting, nature exhibits, and much more!

Texana Heat Jalapeno Eating Contest Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8th is the Texana Heat Jalapeno Eating Contest and limited to 12 participants.

Helicopter Rides On Nov. 8th, from 10am to 5 pm for $90.00/flight (up to 3 people) you can enjoy a Helicopter Ride that overlooks the beautiful Lake Texana!

Food Trucks Through out Chili Spill weekend, there will be several food trucks on site ready to whip up your favorite festival foods!

Get your pits ready 2025 Chili Spill participants because... the 24th Annual Texana Chili Spill & Go-Texan Cook-Off is returning to the Brackenridge Main Event Center in Edna, TX on November 6-8, 2025!

Registration Information!

This year we are excited to continue with our online registration process! We’re excited to announce that, for the first time, online payments will also be accepted! Registration Forms will NOT be submitted until payment is made online! Cash, checks, or in person forms will NOT be accepted!

Early Registration for 2024 participants begins on Monday, September 1st and ends on Tuesday, September 30th at 4PM. ALL 2024 participants will be receiving an email with the Early Registration Online Form link.

Open registration kicks off October 1, 2025. At that time, the link to the online Open Registration Form will be available below. Online registration ends on Wednesday, November 5 ^th at 4:00 p.m.
