25th Annual Texana Chili Spill & Go-Texan Cook-Off

Event Highlights!

Veterans Ceremony Veterans Ceremony This year’s event will include a Veterans Ceremony, an Appreciation Dinner, and a fireworks display on Thursday, November 12th beginning at 5:00 p.m. All Veterans, family and friends are invited to the dinner.
Go-Texan Cook Off Go-Texan Cook Off Go-Texan will be bringing back their Dutch Oven, Jackpot Chicken, Jackpot Ribs, and Jackpot Brisket cook-offs! Turn-in times vary, see below for more details!
Texana Chili Spill Cook-Off Texana Chili Spill Cook-Off The Texana Chili Spill will be bringing back your favorite cook-off competitions! Categories include Salsa, Margarita, Bloody Mary, Sausage, Chili, Bean, & Gumbo! Turn in times/dates vary, see below for info.
Food Trucks Food Trucks Through out Chili Spill weekend, there will be several food trucks on site ready to whip up your favorite festival foods!
Friday Night Fireworks! Friday Night Fireworks! To kick off our 25th Texana Chili Spill - we're kicking it off with a BANG! The fireworks show will begin immediately following the conclusion of the awards on Friday, November 13th.
Kids Que Kids Que Sponsored by Prasek's Hillje Smokehouse The Kids Que is an amateur contest for ages 8-12. The contest is part of the Texana Chili Spill Cook-Off & will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14th. Winners will be announced after the conclusion of judging.
Cornhole Tournament Cornhole Tournament Returning to this year’s event on Saturday, November 14th is the Cornhole Jackpot Tournament!
Wine/Beer Garden Wine/Beer Garden Join us in the Wine Garden for LIVE Acoustic performances Saturday, November 14th from 11AM-10PM. Lavaca Bluffs and the Beer Ranch will be onsite selling a wide variety drinks from 11am-10pm.
Texana Market Texana Market Shop the Texana Market at the Texana Chili Spill on Saturday, November 14th Looking to be a vendor? Contact the Main Event Center at 361-782-7272.
Kids Zone Kids Zone The Kids Zone will be open on Saturday Nov. 14th from 10 am to 5 pm. It will include fun inflatables, craft zone, face painting, nature exhibits, and much more!
Helicopter Rides Helicopter Rides On Nov. 14th, from 10am to 5 pm for $90.00/flight (up to 3 people) you can enjoy a Helicopter Ride that overlooks the beautiful Lake Texana!
Stephanie Ross & the Southern Drive Band! Stephanie Ross & the Southern Drive Band! Join us on the MAIN STAGE on Friday, November 13th from 7-9PM and 9:45pm - 10:30PM as Stephanie Ross & the Southern Drive Band takes the stage!

  • Open registration kicks off October 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Online registration ends on Wednesday, November 11 th at 4:00 p.m.

🔥 Our highly anticipated Kids Que Cook-Off is BACK at the 2026 Texana Chili Spill! 🔥

👩‍🍳 Open to young cooking enthusiasts ages 8–12!
📅 Date: Saturday, November 14th
🥩 Each contestant gets: a pre-lit grill, rib-eye steak, and apron. Bring your favorite marinades, spices, and seasonings to wow the judges!

Texana Chili Spill - Judge Inquiry

Thank you for showing an interest in being a judge for the 25th Annual Texana Chili Spill!
The event will be held on November 13th - 14th at the Brackenridge Main Event Center!

Please understand this form is an inquiry form ONLY. By submitting this form it does not guarantee you will be a judge. We will accept judges inquiry forms until October 23rd. Judges will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. We will notify you via email starting on October 26th if you are selected to be a judge.
*The number of judges needed depends on the amount of entries per category.*

Judging Rules:
1. Judges must be 21 years of age
2. Judges must arrive 10 minutes prior to the category turn-in time
3. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the judging tent
4. Only judges, table monitors, and staff are allowed in the judging tent while judging is underway.
5. HAVE FUN!
