What is the BRC?
The BRC is located along Lake Texana & consists of two Parks & Campgrounds, Brackenridge & Texana, and the Brackenridge Main Event Center!
What is your pet policy?
Pets are to be kept quiet and secured by a leash of 6 feet or less. OR confined. Pets may not be left unattended. Please clean up after them. Aggressive pet breeds such as Pit-bull, Rottweiler, Doberman or any mix of these breeds will NOT be allowed in any part of the Recreation Complex. Maximum 3 pets are allowed per site.
Do you sell fishing bait?
Yes. At our Brackenridge Park Office store we have frozen shrimp, shad, liver & worms. We do NOT sell live bait.
How many people per campsite?
We do not have a limit on how many people per campsite. However, we do ask that our guests use their good judgment when planning their stay and to not encroach on someone else’s campsite.
How many vehicles per campsite?
3 vehicles per campsite total. 2 vehicle passes are included with your campsite the 3rd vehicle pass can be purchased for $5.00/per day. If you will be having more than 3 vehicles, they will have to be parked in overflow parking. EVERY VEHICLE NEEDS A HANG TAG.
Can we bring a golf cart or an ATV?
No motorized vehicles allowed including children’s toys. For example, Rangers, golf carts, four wheelers, power wheels, hover boards, etc. are not allowed.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We have FREE Wi-Fi hotspots throughout each park. Depending on where your campsite is, will depend on if you get signal or not. Wi-Fi is NOT guaranteed. Please do not rely on it.
