The Brackenridge Recreation Complex invites you to celebrate Mardi Gras with a lakeside twist at “Mardi Gras: Lake Texana Style”! This festive evening will feature live zydeco music and a Cajun gumbo meal to celebrate Mardi Gras! All the fun takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Harry Hafernick Recreation Center in Brackenridge Park & Campground.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 28th at 9:00 a.m. and are available by presale only. Tickets are limited and must be purchased by calling the Brackenridge Park & Campground Office at 361-782-5456.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with food and music beginning at 6:30 p.m. The live band Boudreaux and Pousson will take the stage and keep the celebration going until 9:00 p.m., bringing authentic Louisiana flair to the evening.
Guests will enjoy a Cajun-inspired meal catered by Seaux Cajun, featuring: Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, and French Bread. Cajun inspired dessert will also be served! In addition, The Beer Ranch will be on site with only the best adult beverages available for purchase.
Tickets are only $25 per person and includes everything the evening has to offer – including dinner!
