The Brackenridge Recreation Complex is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Red, White & Blue 5K Color Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, June 6th at 8:00 AM at Brackenridge Park & Campground. Event parking will be available at the Boat Ramp.
This patriotic, family-friendly event invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a fun and festive 5K experience filled with red, and blue color stations along the course. Whether participants are seasoned runners or simply looking for a fun way to celebrate and stay active, this Fun Run is sure to be a good time for all!
Registration is only $30 per participant and includes a race bib, hydration stations along the course, and post-race refreshments. The first 100 participants to register will receive a finisher’s medal.
To show appreciation for those who serve, first responders will receive half off-race registration. Additionally, 50% of the event proceeds will be donated to a local first responder organization, further supporting those who serve and protect the community.
In addition, any first responder who camps at Brackenridge Park or Texana Park & Campground during the event weekend will receive a special Buy One Night, Get One Night Free camping offer. See special offers below!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register online beginning Friday, May 1st, at www.brackenridgepark.com. Onsite registration will be available the morning of the race starting at 7:15 AM, with the race kicking off approximately at 8:00 AM. Onsite is cash only!
